Pull into the parking lot for San Elijo State Park CLOSEST TO THE CAMPGROUNDS if you dont have a pass you'll need to go to the campgrounds to get a day pass or park onthe street walk thruogh the gate into the park and walk down the nearest stair case. Pack Lightly because its a big stair case.
