You must take a ferry over but it is a private community. But you can take on to the community beside it and walk up the beach. The feirres depart from ocean bay park on the great south bay. Its truely worth it. Iv been to costa ric and up and down the sea board and it is by far my favorit. To be warned u bike on the island but its very short. Its a well kept secret. Not many people know about it. There are no surfers in the community so it wont be crowded.
